About the role

The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the CEO, leading Beyond Aero’s fundraising process and ensuring progress across all key conversations. This role is at the heart of our next chapter: building strong relationships with top-tier investors, keeping discussions moving forward, and helping secure the funding that will define our future.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in climate, aerospace, or hardware industries — someone who understands the investor landscape, navigates high-stakes conversations with confidence, and thrives in fast-moving, high-pressure environments.

1. Fundraising Leadership:

• Develop and execute fundraising strategy targeting top-tier investors in aerospace, hardware, and climate-focused industries.

• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with potential investors, venture capital firms, private equity, strategic partners.

• Create persuasive investor materials, including pitch decks and financial projections, in collaboration with internal teams.

• Represent Beyond Aero at key investor meetings, IP acquisition discussions, industry conferences, and high-stakes negotiations.

2. Legal and Financial Negotiations:

• Lead negotiations for fundraising and M&A transactions, leveraging strong expertise in corporate finance and legal frameworks.

• Collaborate with our Strategic Finance Manager and legal counsel to review, and finalize investment contracts, term sheets, and shareholder agreements

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Address investor and IP acquisition discussions, presenting strategic solutions to protect Beyond Aero’s interests.

3. Collaboration and Strategy Development:

• Partner with internal teams across finance, legal, engineering, and marketing to align strategies and provide data for discussions.

• Act as a liaison between investors, and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust.

About you

• 10+ years of experience in venture-backed startups or growth-stage companies, ideally in aerospace, climate tech, hardware, or deeptech.

• Proven track record of leading Series B/C/D+ fundraising rounds with top-tier institutional and strategic investors.

• Strong background in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.

• Deep understanding of legal frameworks, especially term sheets, shareholder structures, and IP licensing.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills—able to earn the trust of both technical teams and financial partners.
